you lent me your arm and i held it all the way through. you kissed my hand a couple times before you kissed me. my head spun around, i didn't know what to do with myself so i just smiled at the linoleum. look at what i've got. the flavor of your lips is enough to keep me present. if talk is cheap, then your words are weighted in gold---encrusted with diamonds. words fall from your mouth like honey from a jar; sweet and slow. you mean every word of it, it's hard to miss. you talked until we got to the door. you kissed me again on the same balcony we always have. i wish we held it for longer. the backseat of your mom's car is my favorite. you let me sing all the way home. you kissed me at my door before letting me go. a bittersweet part that i always seem to love. i cant wait to see you again.
thanks for the lift.
when i'm with you i feel like i could die and that would be alright
yours,
L
