So I'm going to college in the Fall of 2022 (Hopefully University of Arkansas) and I'm the only one in my close family to go to large university. I have almost no idea of what I all need to do before applying and things are just wild right now. I'm looking at 50k worth of student loan debt and going to a large city for the first time in my life (to live there). I come from a town of 250 people so going somewhere like Fayetteville is like moving to NYC for me. I'm both excited and ready to have a seizure.
Between trying to figure everything out on my own and struggling to learn algebra again I'm just in a full time panic attack. At least I have a few months to figure everything out. I can't even understand if I'm supposed to take the ACT or the Accuplacer test instead.
I'm very excited to go to college and to earn my BA in English or Creative Writing so I can go into the writing/publishing industry to be an editor but this is a whole new frontier for me.
