Journal Entry #35: 04/15/23

Um, it's the weekend again. And not much has happened.

I spent my day rotating between apps, listening to music, watching TV, and writing. This isn't bad per se, but I want to do more. I don't want to do more things that are productive, in fact, I hate the word productive. It assumes you must do everything for work and/or money. I just wanna be less aimless. We have learning targets in class so you know what your goal is. I guess I should start creating daily goals.

Once again it is becoming evident that this is the beginning of the end. Apparently, I have to turn in my school computer not this coming week, but the next. Guess I'll have to start using my Macbook.

Oh, I've been getting into Minesweeper lately. It's been testing my patience in a good way. I hope to play some more of it when I have no work/when I don't feel like working. 

Also, I've been thinking about IQ. Apparently, the average computer science major has a 100+ IQ? I shouldn't be surprised though. The problem is, I have an average IQ. Now, I know this doesn't mean I can't get a computer science degree, but I'm becoming more cautious. What if I don't pass the placement test? What if I can't do it? Though, the only way to figure that stuff out is to try and find out. I need to keep my head up. Yes, I have limits, but to some degree, they are flexible, unlike one's IQ.

Oh, and senioritis is kicking my ass! I have a few zeroes marked in one of my classes because I forgot to turn something in. The zero could easily disappear if I just turned it in and notified my teacher, but I just don't feel like doing it. Ugh, I only have about three weeks left now. You'd think the last few weeks of school would be a breeze.

I stumbled across a Vtuber's Twitter page today, and man, did it rekindle my interest to be a Vtuber. It'd be so cool, but I'm not sure if I'm really cut out for the Vtuber role. Plus, I'd need to get mods, learn a bunch of rigging stuff, have someone handle advertising, etc. It's like running an entire business. I actually have some lore for my sona, S'more (who I hope to post about eventually) that would make a great start for a Vtuber bio. For now, though, the Vtuber life is just a dream...
