If you know me (which i strongly doubt and surely hope you don't ..), you'll know that my school shares buildings with the math high.! the last two days of the previous week were free for them due to their school turning 50 years old (how exciting .. ᗜ ,ᗜ ..)

during those two days their school had . .

multiple events including carrying the school and my country's flags around town, a small concert with, of course, awards for the winners (math, language and art students could attend) and dancing for anyone who wishes to participate. 

as the very likeable and amazing person i am, my dear friend who studies there decided to invite me. ( i accepted, duh (ˇ▽ˇ)ノ♪♬♫ ). as we sat ourselves down, the singers were preparing for the big show.. the concert ended up being late with 40 minutes ..(ll￣︿￣). I gazed over to the stage and noticed a friend of mine. in excitement i exclaimed "LILY !!"  which was then followed by a confused "who?" from my friend. he didn't know her in person, but as i couldn't just walk up to the stage and introduce them to each other, i decided to show him her instagram page.

ONE PROBLEM . . . he didn't have internet, but it couldn't be that bad, right? i could always share (how generous, am i right ??╰(￣∀￣)╯). I turned on my phone, looking at the massive crack on the bottom left of my screen.

throwback two months earlier . . . 

i had just returned from school, ready to prepare myself a tasty meal. tip toeing, i reach to the top of the cabinet, trying to get myself a bowl ( people who i've invited over would know how high our cabinets are ). as i'm taking it out .. "POW ! 1!"  i drop it on the counter. i slowly pick it up and notice that it isn't broken "thank god" - i whisper to myself in relief . . i take a look down and see the massive crack on my phone, where the bowl fell. 

fast forward to the concert . . .

i had just shared internet and turned off my phone. the concert was just about to begin and my friend was already familiar with the girl who would be singing. i reach over to grab my phone from the pocket in order to record. MY SCREEN HAS TURNED TO SALT ?!?? this can't be real, i tried to unlock it , open the camera, restart it, even an emergency call.  n o t h i n g  worked. and that's how we got here, the present.

my phone is still not working and the screen is still pretty much broken. and knowing my parents, i won't be getting a new one soon (--_--) though i can't blame them for my own clumsiness, i'm still a little lost without a phone.
