Cyber Cafes

Cyber Cafes were the right level of online for out and about. Nobody ever used them except on holiday. But when you’re on holiday sometimes it’s good to be able to check your emails or forums or just play a game. They’d cost a quid an hour but that’s about as much as you’d want to use the net. You’d also get a snack and a drink as you went – it was a café as much as it was cyber – so I would get a toastie and a milkshake. The places I would use these were always hot countries like the Canaries.
