happy 413/how i got into homestuck

> today is homestuck day, i've been a homestuck since 2016 and it took me a year to read it all. i remember i was in an undertale roleplay groupchat, i was roleplaying chara and i had a "boyfriend" named alex (nothing serious obviously, we were kids) and he was roleplaying a self insert, now i don't know but i got his number and he had a whatsapp status that said something like "videogames and homestuck ^w^" and i was like "what is homestuck? is it a videogame?" and i started to search and well... i jumped into the rabbit hole.

> keep in mind i was a tween kid in middle school, i got OBSESSED and i wanted all my friends to read it and some of them got interested but i remember that and it makes me cringe, like, what was i thinking? homestuck is a mess and anyone that reads it goes insane.

> that was a joke, i love homestuck, i made cool friends because of it! sometimes i cringe thinking about all of the things i liked in middle school, but i was happy and i made friends that liked those things too, some of them are still my friends! and i love them so much. 

> but yeah, homestuck IS a mess.
