Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Hi, everyone!

Today I made a new dessert for the family. One that everyone was looking forward to...a cream cheese pound cake. It was so delicious and pretty simple to make! Just a heads up, I only have pictures of the final result. But, I know y'all got this and it will come out perfect! So, let's get to it.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups salted butter, at room temperature

8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature

3 cups granulated sugar

6 large eggs, at room temperature

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp. Kosher salt

1 tbsp. vanilla extract

Confectioners' sugar, berries and whipped cream, for serving, optional

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First, you're going to preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Then, you're going to spray a 12 in. bundt pan well with baking spray. I use Pam baking spray, which is mixed with flour, so it's the perfect spray for coating. Make sure it's coated well to prevent any sticking to the pan. Then, set your greased pan aside.

Next, in your mixer, beat the butter, cream cheese, and also sugar until it's nice and fluffy! Which should be around 3 minutes or so. Then, add your eggs two at a time, beating after each addition, until well combined. Next, add your flour, salt, and vanilla, and beat until all of it's well blended. It will seem a bit thick, but no worries it's supposed to be like that! Pour the mixture into your prepared pan.

Bake your cake for 1 1/2 hours and until the top is golden brown, it'll spring back when you lightly press it. You can also insert a wooden toothpick in, it'll come out clean when finished. Take your cake out and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes or so, on a wire rack (if you have one). After 10 minutes, flip your cake out onto a dish to cool it completely.

Lastly, you can dust confectioners' sugar lightly on top. That's it! Super easy dessert! To serve, just cut into slices and top it with whipped cream and berries. I made homemade whipped cream and used raspberries.

Well, as you can see it was a super easy dessert recipe! I hope y'all get to try this and enjoy it. It'll definitely be worth it!
