Selamat pagii! Today I'm feeling a lot happier! that's a relief... (¯▿¯)
I ended up watching Kemono Friends all
day. i love that show so much.. I know people criticize the animation,
but I can see past it! (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ まだいい！
It made me really want to go
to the zoo... Maybe that's... an embarrassing motivation to go to the
zoo, though. ｡ﾟ(TヮT)ﾟ｡ I want to take pictures with my new camera at the
zoo, but it's not as fun to me!! I like taking pictures of wild animals
better, you have to stalk it first, then get a good shot... and pray
it's not blurry! It's more rewarding!
so, yes, you'll see me boasting over a poorly framed picture of a squirrel eating a cracker rather than a tiger at the zoo. That's just the way I am... 人(_ _*)
My
favorite place to go to take pictures is by the cliffs at the beach,
since we get wild seals and sea lions!! I got so close and managed to record a
fight between them thanks to the camera zoom... it's such a high quality
action packed video, I can't believe that even happened! (*/_＼) I
witnessed a sea lion birth, too, and got sneezed on... it's probably my
favorite place to capture wild animals! but, tourists always get
attacked, since it's an easy walk on the cliff to touch one. Don't
disturb a sea lion... it will put up a fight.
But they mostly just lay around...
The cliffs by there are really amazing, though.. a few years ago, a friend invited me to go kayaking on the open sea so we could see the caves that are out there, so I said yes!
Maybe it was a mistake... (￣ ￣|||)
Well, when you're going into the ocean... there's a lot of waves before it gets calm, right? you have to get the boat in the water somehow... So we spent 15 minutes trying to push the kayak past the waves, gasping, fighting for our lives, getting smacked in the face with sea water at full force every ten seconds... I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE!! It was seriously the most frustrating and terrifying moment of my life!! (°ㅂ°╬) This must be what seaweed feels like every day!??

Anyways... once we were on the sea, we were both... traumatized and exhausted. My friend kept shaking and would turn back and say 'Pocchi... I'll be honest... I think I'm going to throw up, I'm so scared...'
BUT I'M TERRIFIED OF THROW UP TOO!!! (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`)
So... for a good ten minutes, it was just gagging and screaming on perfectly calm and quiet seas. After that, it was actually pretty nice and relaxing... No one threw up, the sun was out, we saw lots of sea lions and pelicans at sea... we never got to go to the cave since waters were too high, but it was still fun!!
But then it's time to go back to shore. (;;;*_*)
Now... going back to shore is not as hard as getting your kayak into the ocean! The ocean pushes you inland! BUT... IT DOES IT POWERFULLY... so you have to paddle together and time it just right! The instructor told us you CANNOT. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. Let your kayak turn sideways when you're going back in.
Since you're going forward with the waves, if you turn sideways, the waves will just spin you around like high speed rotisserie chicken. [ ± _ ± ]
Well. going over the waves was probably the most fun I've had in my life... ┐(￣∀￣)┌ We had been paddling all day, and the waves take you right where you need to go easily... so fast, so free...!
I forgot to keep paddling. It turned sideways. ( ͡ ' ˍゝ͡ ' )
The kayak flipped over immediately and we both went flying out.. and spun.. and spun... and spun... it was so comically fast, I can only imagine it's like being in a laundry machine... All of a sudden I went flying out of the water like an idiot and smacked so hard into the beach it completely knocked the wind out of my chest. (￣_￣)・・・ IT HURT SO BAD... I was scraped and bruised all over. I think when I got home, I sat on the floor under a heater inside a towel playing Taiko no Tatsujin on my phone for hours because i was too cold and sore to even move!!
everyone kept asking 'pocchi... aren't you going to move?'
no... I'm Pocchisicle.
I was sunburnt for days afterwards since the ocean was so reflective... it was miserable! (*_ _) BUT... EVEN AFTER ALL THAT... I think I would still recommend it!! The parts where I wasn't pleading for my life were fun! (((φ(◎ロ◎;)φ))) We should all do something risky and fun just once in our lives... whether it's recording a sea lion wrestling match. Or becoming a seaweed. Maybe you won't die...
...but maybe I won't do that again... m(_ _;m)

Omg (〃＞＿＜;〃) Kayaking is super fckin hard!!! I totally felt ur pain I went kayaking in like 2019 at a lake with my family and after crashing several times, me and my dad finally made it to the end of the lake and so I hopped off to go scavenge along the rocks and accidently touched a deAD FISH WITH MY FOOT!!!!!!!!! (」°ロ°)」It was like half split open and covered in flies and oh god I feel sick remembering it but frr there's something abt Kayaking that attracts disaster like a waterbound magnet
IT TOTALLY IS... That's horrible though!! Σ(°△°|||)︴ I'd be traumatized for life! to be honest.. i'm terrified of freshwater. maybe it's calmer than the sea, but the freshwater insects, the slugs, the swampy air... IT'S HORRIFYING... i think, no matter the body of water... a kayak will always attract trouble.

AAAH that's awesome!!! I need to finish binging the show, but I'm a big fan already! I have the mobile game now.. (°▽°)/ AH.. YEAH... with the force at which i was thrown I would probably be clipping in the sand making horrible ragdoll thuds everywhere!!
