Midnight Shinanigans

I got my refund check from school, and I always spend about 20-30% of it on myself. Well, guess who just invested in some new software! I recently got a desktop so I downloaded a game for myself (Audiosurf because I'm a rhythm game fanatic), bought a drawing tablet, and downloaded Vocaloid 5.

I worked for a major university as a program coordinator for a gardening volunteer program, and also wrote newsletters and articles for them. My creativity was being stifled and I felt like I was just being pigeon-holed writing scientific, environmental stuff. I left that job to work at the library so that I could tap more into my creativity, but I ended up getting stuck at information and resources. I get to do presentations again, which kind of fueled my fire to start writing for fun again. That's where my idea for my online zine came in. I want to rekindle my enjoyment for writing, so while I'm in school getting all these degrees, I'll also be trying to begin freelance writing. These programs will help me tap back into my creative side, so that I can have a more fulfilling career.
I also played cello for ten years and wanted to dabble in something different, so I decided to spend the 230 dollars to get that software. Wasn't that big of a chunk of my school refund check anyway.
Plus, tax return season is coming, I work full time, and hopefully we will be getting a stimulus check sometime soon, so I'm not stressing. I pay my bills on time, and I deserve it.
I'm mostly just rambling on so that I can justify this purchase lol.

Anyway, goodnight!!
