hi!! i thought it'd be really fun if i did this new lil segment on here where i talk about certain dolls and my thoughts. . . mostly mh, so every post i have that is about dolls? it'll be under the Drac's Doll Chat name, btw if you don't understand why its called drac's doll chat, here's why;

i go by multiple names, drac being one of them, i go by drac, lala and aqua, i feel like i only rlly want close friends to call me aqua, so like if you end up w/ my discord one day, then you're allowed to call me aqua !!

both the names drac and lala were inspired by / taken from draculaura, bc she's just a heavily relevant character to me, i've always related to her since i was a really small child and she's just always been a character i felt like was someone i could see myself in. 

annnyyyyyboo lets get on with the dolls;

i'm thinking of having multiple subjects per "episode"

it really depends on what i want to talk about but today?

this draculaura is gorgeous, stunning, i am absolutely in love with her, i want to add her to my collection. . .

clawdeen, the gorgeous ghoul looks very much like herself in the stockphoto but draculaura. . . 

 verdict; COFFIN BEAN DRACULAURA IS THE BIGGEST CATFISH KNOWN TO MAN AND I CAN'T SHUT UP ABOUT IT. 

onto the next topic . . . 

 𝓔𝓐𝓗 𝓘𝓢 𝓤𝓖𝓛𝓨 𝓞𝓡 𝓘𝓢 𝓘𝓣?

now i think ever after high has some amzing character designs but. . . oof those dolls have a HELL OF A LOT OF PANCAKE FACE !!! 

THOSE GHOULIES HAVE PANCAKE FACE !! 

that being said, the opinon that they're fugly is a little harsh. . . 

ignore the ugly ass pancake face ( they look much worse in person, stockphotos do more justice )  and we have what i think is a very appealing design, she sports a gorgeous dress reminiscent of a rose with vine like details going up her top and scales like a dragon.

its a very cute reference to the story she's based on, or well the most common ( disney ) telling of it.

i thnk her shoes would be even better if some paint brought that gorgeous flowery detail.

but the part where eah falls flat, the art style makes up for perfectly. . .

this is where i think the dolls fell flat.

notice the face, i think if the eyes were much bigger like in the art, we could have had prettier dolls.

other designs i really appreciate; 

so what would i change about eah if i brought it back for a reboot?

i would make apple canon sapphic ofc and actually explore her relationship with darling but that is for another time.

i would like mh g3 is doing use diverse body type molds, i would also use head molds more similar to mh because i feel like they'd look more appealing that way, i think the idea of their fashion was on point and i feel like they'd do really well leaning into the fairycore, cottagecore, princesscore kind of niches that monster high cannot fill

     i love dawn of the dance, do not get me wrong, but she's a little ugly nowadays. 

and i mean that in a positive way!!

monster high generation one was all about the clash, she was MEANT to be ugly, like she thrived on mixing patterns, she was a relic of her time, and THAT IS A GOOD THING !!

oh just look at my ghouls! so beautiful !! 

cleo and frankie surprisingly are probably my faves from this line, draculaura's dress just never worked for me as well as their outfits did. 

she's adorable !! it's just that. . . she's also kinda. . . 

ugly. 

i think draculaura's outfit is specifically the worst offender of bad aging, the stripes don't appeal, they offend the eyes, AND I LOVE THAT !!

she is soo unabashedly cringe for that, and its like ,,, go off, ghoul. 

clawdeen's bright green shrek themed hair also amazing, i love it, i was so excited to see g3 bring back her purple and green pops !! but i think orange is g3's new green imo 

and. . . frankie . . . they honestly didn't age badly at all.

they still get it, i think frankie's outfit actually aged well with the return of mh into popularity and 2000s fashion into popularity, and most of mh's lines from the very beginnig you must realize, were designed before their launch in the 2010, so it is like a glimpse back into what was cool and fashionable for more alt leaning kids reflected in imaginative toys at the time.

i will always find that fascinating. 

it is honestly a goal of mine to own this entire line up and not just main three, because i adore them, from lagoona's fin themed mohawk to clawdeen's neon hair and gold shoes to frankie's outfit that only inspires me to remember Friday I'll Be Over U by Allison Iraheta and also Material Girl seems to come into mind too.

- what is your favourite monster high line out of generation one? 

- what is your favourite ever after high doll from the signature first chapter? 

- what subjects would you like to see me talk about?

i'm thinking about bringing exclusive mini doll chats to my bulletin if this goes over all, over there i think i might talk about news little pieces of news like leaks or new releases, things that don't warrant a long blog post
