RANFREN LUCID 24.88 SPOILERS !! 

lucid 24.88 is obviously an extension of lucid 24, being only about half of a lucid due to it only being 18(+extra) pages as opposed to the usually longer length in more recent lucids.

satoru is someone created in randal’s imagination, a “boy of another layer,” and since he was made by randal and doesn’t (yet) have his own conscious, he sees randal in a very odd way. he sees randal in a very unrealistic way, better than who randal actually is. (presumably because randal is some weird egoist, but also because he was made that way by randal)

in lucid 24.88, satoru remains in the “leftover data” of the dream even after randal is gone. satoru COULD BE somewhat manifesting? himself into reality. i have kind of assumed we will see him in technology next, like a ghost haunting an old tv, but i haven’t noticed him in any odd places yet..

if he does truly separate, he’ll not see randal the same. he’ll see the weirdo he really is. this COULD damage their relationship, but it will certainly change it. i’m interested in seeing where cap goes with this?
