back story
I met this girl a while back we became friends instantly. But we went to different schools (we met at summer camp) Then a while later she entered my school and at the time I had another friend we'll call her amy and we became a trio. Whenever we got in a fight my other friend We'll call Chloe sided with amy. and i was left out. Later Amy moved and it was just me and Chloe This strengthened are relationship. After that we got into a huge fit and for two years we were no contact for two years.
After that I went into middle school and then they came back. We found each other and bonded quickly and became inseparable. This was the biggest mistake of my life. She Became toxic . and it was a one sided relationship. I became her personal therapist. But she never helped me with anything. At the time I came out as trans soon after she also came out and pressured me to come out too.
I cut her of completely am I the ass hole for cutting of a friend of seven years

no they shouldn’t have pressured u into coming out and the only reason u guys grew closer is bc the other friend wasnt there. i dont mean this in a bad way btw but u were the 2nd choice and u deserve better friends

if you have a toxic friend you should cut them out of your life. It does not matter how long you've been with them, if they are family, if they are your parents. IT DOES NOT MATTER. If someone is not giving you the respect you deserve you throw them out. Find the good ones in life and it will make you a lot happier.

nta, it should be ur desicion and ur desicion ALONE to come out, all she had been doing was using u and it was the only logical thing to leave her, you shouldnt feel bad about it. ur relationship w her was not healthy n im super happy that u made it out :)

It's a shame when that happens but if someone doesn't show some respect for you or help you out in any way just always needing you to help them, then there's no reason to be around them, unless you can make them see their ways.
