My dead fish

Before one of y'all tells me there's something wrong, no kidding Sherlock. I'm just here to share a funny story since I'm bored. 

So, I got this fish when I was like 6 years old, this guy was pretty long and I would laugh about it. I put all sorts of decorations in his tank, fake seaweed, a random mermaid figure, and others. I adored that fish despite him being ugly (according to my childhood book). I would always feed him (I was young and my parents didn't care). 

Aside from feeding the fish, I would always aggressively tap his tank. I clearly wanted an owner-and-pet moment so I tried to get the fish's attention, but one day I tapped so hard that guy jumped out of his tank. To be honest I didn't know why he jumped out, I just thought that was the most logical reasoning. 

I was wayyy too scared to put him back so I got my dad to put him back. Months passed and the fish started to jump out again and again, not until he was dead...on the floor... SO me and my brother got back to see the fish and then boom. Dead. The fam held a funeral tho.
