Similarities Between Salem Witch Trials And Mccarthyism

The Red Scare caused nationwide hysteria just how the Salem Witch Trials caused hysteria to the people of Salem. Those suspected of witchcraft were put on trial. Everyone was on their toes about the mass of events happening in Salem. Both things had to do with people accusing each other of people being communist, and people being witches. In the McCarthy era, everyone feared communists and immigrants. I come to counsel Christians they should belie themselves.

I think that shows us the sad power of fear and terror on the community..
