Shrek 3 Review

just finished watching Shrek 3 for the first time in a long time and i must say, i’m fairly disappointed. the jokes don’t land for me the same way they did in the first 2 movies. i did still really appreciate fiona and shrek’s love as well as donkey’s humor (he is my favorite character). it does make me wonder though. what happened to the other ogres? the other movies make no mention of any other ogres besides shrek and fiona (who isn’t even a full ogre) and the third installment is the first time they’re mentioned or seen on screen. how come they haven’t made any previous appearances? is it wrong to assume that shrek is the reason for why the other ogres are missing…or even dead? this theory gives me much to ponder about.
