oc rambling 1

i've been trying to ramble about my minecraft ocs for several days and then i end up just stopping or the page crashes. or something else. or i get distracted.

i'm working on two ocs presently right now. opha and opal. they're my minecraft enderman ocs. i love them.

i've been doing some world building in which the two of them are heir to a throne in the end. within the lore i've concocted they're both on borrowed time. this is because there's a virus (for lack of a better word) in the end that basically can infect anyone who lives in the end for long periods of time. what it does is slowly starts eating at people and infecting them with void sickness or transforming them entirely.

i believe that endermen are an ancient race that basically fell through the end frame in strongholds and they started building their own kingdoms in the end. this sickness has transgressed to the point / day and age that opha and opal live in.

the two of them don't end up staying in the end and taking the throne. for opha it makes sense because he's not suave. at all. nor is he technically fully blood related to opal. opal is pure bred while opha isn't. opha is extremely awkward and cannot come across as charismatic to save his life, while opal can.

opal and opha probably were sent to the surface for some kind of duty- and then they ended up staying. i'm trying to figure out if they're close or if they hate each other now. i think that opal ending up more like opha and apologizing for their falling out as brothers may be good for the two of them.

this also coincides with my end angel lore that i'm still working on. it's just kind of fun to go back to building stuff.
