I decided to checked out some of these rpgs I that got alongside with a game charity bundle on itch.io, some months ago and went on a rabbit hole.
Turns out its possible to actually play a tabletop RPGs by yourself!. Yeah, there´s some who have an emphasis on journaling, while other have solo rules for regular RPGs modules. There was even this series called ironsword for those who want a more Dnd style of game play....
Anyway I did some investing and all you need to play is a system you like, it can be one you´re familiar with, some pen and paper cause you will wanna write things down... a lot.
And possibly some kind of oracle. what is does, it randomizer certain parts of the campaign like quest, plots etc... simulating a gamemaster.
The most popular of these is of course is Mythic that has these tables, I was recommended UNE which helps created decent NPCs.
One hand its kind of great, cuz I´ve always wanted to play these games, but never had a group to do it with. Plus I think my life is a bit too chaotic at the moment to figure the best time to play.
Just to think all those Vampire the masquerade game books I collected over the years because I enjoy reading the lore on for the fun of it will finally have some good use.
I also found a cool reddit resource. that´s nice

yeah im trying to start that sorta of campaing. have you ever heard of thousand year old vampire?
You create a vampire character use dice and the gamebook gives you several prompt on which to move the story. usually you have to pay for it, but currently, they are giving away free copies:

I'm also thinking about playing Delve which a map drawing game which plays more like an analogue version of Dwarf fortress
