callie's conundrums 4

wanna hear about something that drives me absolutely BANANAS? it's something pretty niche, so it's not anythin' that happens TOO often, but it happens more times than i'd like to admit. no word in the english dictionary can describe how displeased i get whenever someone says that they know everything about mario, and then proceed to inform me that they don't know (because you can still know about a game without playing it, like watching walkthroughs of it, that's what i used to do and it's nothin' to be ashamed of!) about the paper mario games, or the mario and luigi games, and even games like MARIO 64 and GALAXY for crying out loud! like sure, those are older games, but in mario terms? they're iconic!! sure, i might be sounding like the 🤓 emoji right now, but i'm just very passionate about this subject, man!! like, how would you feel if you met someone who said they know a lot about your favorite thing only to be met with them saying "oh... well, i actually HAVEN'T heard about such and such"?! i hope i'm not sounding like i'm gatekeeping or anything, because you can still have something be your favorite thing ever and not know everything about it. hell, i haven't played every single mario game to have ever existed, but mario's still one of my special interests!! you just, uh... shouldn't act like you know more about someone. and do it rudely. because it's only rude people who have done that! anyways, with that being said, uhhh, i might go and see the mario movie again tonight with some buddies of mine. so i'll be pretty dang unresponsive for all of today! (also i found this cool and awesome gif from here and i will add it to the end of every blog post now because it looks cool!!!) <(￣︶￣)>
