My thoughts on the vol 1 remake!

Yesterday, Alex Kister released his remake of TMC volume 1. I apologize in advance for being kinda late to post this, but it took me a while to collect my thoughts on it (Mostly positive ones, by the way.)

I think it perfectly captures the energy and aura I’m looking for when I think about and watch analog horror. Plus, the editing style and everything else about it really just shows how much Alex has improved with his work, and I’m very proud of him for making it so far with his incredible work.

I noticed that I (Mark) sounded different than I did in the original volume, which is interesting to me. I definitely got a few memories jogged, but they weren’t really nice ones. I know I probably shouldn’t talk about my personal past trauma and all of that, so I won’t talk about it any further.

Anyway, I really liked how he added the MAD thing into the volume as well. Over all, I think it was really well made and I’m incredibly surprised at how much it matched up with my memories. 10/10, would highly recommend even if you’ve already seen the original vol 1. It’s worth the risk lmao ;)
