socks and sandals

bro why the hell do people do this to themselves

the point of socks are:

to keep your feet warm
to prevent your shoes from rubbing

you only wear sandals on hot days so you dont need socks for warmth, and sandals dont rub the same way other shoes do, so you dont need socks to protect your feet??

therefore, WHAT IS THE POINT

maybe its a strange fashion statement?? to be honest i dont understand why people do it either but if thats what they want then im ok with it even if i cant understand what tragic life events lead someone to wear sandals with socks
