been a couple months, huh?

This might be the longest I've gone without a blog update. I'm not dead, just working on other stuff. And I never really think of anything that warrants a longer form of internet text post like this.

So, what have I been up to? Besides my usual stuff, I'm trying to start a life. Job applications (most of which have been ignored, and yet "nobody wants to work"), community service hours for school, college stuff... all of the fun stuff you do as you're leaving the comfort of your childhood. Sure, high school is a bigoted shithole, but at least I don't have to worry about providing for myself. Maybe I'm just stressing out over nothing, but becoming an adult is a bit stressful.

Besides that stuff, what else is going on in my life? Well, not a whole lot. I made a trip to Des Moines last Saturday and accidentally walked my way into a pretty big comic convention at the Merle Hay Mall. It's not just a couple tables with trading cards, there was quite a lot of stuff there. I even stumbled my way into a cosplay contest that was happening near a record store I wanted to go to. While at that record store, I got about 35 Promo Only music video DVDs (only 2 of them failed to read). Also got a few other nice things while I was down there. Besides that, not much else has happened in terms of notable things.
