Listening.

I don’t listen. I should. But I don’t. They’re telling me I’ll get hurt if I don’t listen but yet I don’t listen even when I know I’ll get hurt. Do I like the hurt? The pain? No. I don’t. But the.. the love I want from what can hurt me. But the only feeling coming to me is pain. Another heartbreak from feelings caught too fast. Don’t grab a blade out of panic, you may cut yourself. Pick it up carefully and you won’t get hurt. That’s how love works. Rush through it and it hurts you. Go slow and you’ll last long.
