Adhesions happen when two internal body parts get abnormally attatched together by a band of scar tissue. An example would be: the iris and the lens becoming connected in the eye, which could then result in glaucoma, or, the uterus becoming attatched to the bowls. The scar tissue attatching the two surfaces results from the body trying to repair itself incorrectly, causing an adhesion. Adhesions are treated by larascopic surgery, removing the tissue from the two surfaces.
I've experienced one first hand, I wouldn't go through it again for anything, they suck ass💀.
Now i'm gonna eat lunch YIPPEEE
