Is it 2004 again?

Seriously though, this is weird, in a way too comfy way. Never in a million years did I ever think I would typing something on a platform that resembled the ghost of MySpace's past. Today I was on Twitter and noticed MySpace was trending. I was curious as to see why and came across this. It was as if my eyes were playing tricks on me in wonderful ways. 

It's no secret the past couple of years have been hell on all of us going through this pandemic. Not too many people are very fond of Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg isn't exactly campaigning for most liked person on the internet. With that said, I think we've all craved and desired a simpler time. When MySpace was at it's peak, most of us did not have the stress we have today so Spacehey brings a wave of nostalgia like a warm welcomed hug from a long lost friend you haven't seen in years.

When I first got an OG MySpace I was still living at home under my mom's roof, using a PC, and a Sidekick for a phone. During the height of Myspace I relocated from the suburbs of Chicago to Los Angeles in 2006. By 2008 I had become a full blown Apple person with a MacBook Pro and iPhone and next thing we knew MySpace was a distant memory replaced with apps on apps on social media. 

Ironically I moved back to the Chicago area this past summer and apparently just in time to join Spacehey! I'm not living under my mom's roof again, no. But it does feel oddly familiar and brings me back to a more youthful time. To be quite honest I always preferred MySpace over Facebook anyway. You couldn't change your layout, colors, add gifs, music, and glitter to your Facebook profile. MySpace definitely catered to the creative in us all. Plus MySpace did something good for all of us at a young age, teaching us basics in coding!

Anyway, do I plan on blogging here frequently? Probably not. I have a blog I pay a domain for with that. However, I had to at least share something here rather than have this be totally blank. As for a little bit about me in case you're curious here we go....

I do tarot readings on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok for the collective. I primarily help many in complicated love situations such as twin flames, but I simply have a heart to help others regardless of the area in which they seek guidance in. For those who are compelled I am open and available for private readings. I also have an Etsy shop where you can find unique reading offerings as well as oracle decks I have created. I use these decks in my own readings and welcome those who enjoy them to feel free to pick one up for themselves to use in their own readings. 

Now all I gotta do is convince my friends on other social platforms to step into the time machine with me so we can all go back to a simpler time. Who wants to be on my Top 8?! Well, much like what people would comment to each other back in the day, in big glitter gif letters, I am showing love!
