my in laws suck

so for reference, my hubby and i are living with my in laws for the time being. and literally posted this to tumblr last night, and they've already done more to piss me off since posting that.

my stupid fucking in laws love giving me more reasons to fucking hate them. let’s begin shall we? 

•die hard trump supporters (i could just leave it here, cuz that’s already bad enough)

•spent less for our wedding (on a keg and cake, that’s all they contributed to the wedding, other than their lawn) than my mom did on fake flowers alone, but still decided to be snobby and entitled about the fact they spent any money at all. 

•didn’t help at all to set up wedding decorations and such and my husband and i, and my mom and stepdad were the only ones who set everything up, causing us to be rushing around and end up being late coming to our own wedding because it took soo long to get everything done and ready. 

•makes fun of me behind my back for being nonbinary. 

•the most selfish people i’ve ever met

•husband got his dad an alexa for his birthday, and the first thing his dad says is “i don’t like these, they listen to you”. that of course circles back to the trump conspiracy theorist bs. 

•listens to tucker carlson 

•super redneck in the trashiest way

•gets new dog that’s been traumatized and does not give it the proper care at all. they got him from a shelter over a month ago and i’m pretty confident to say i don’t think they’ve even given him a bath

•always drinking and going to bars and looks down on you if you don’t do the same

•BIGOTS BIGOTS BIGOTS

•lazy ass motherfucker my fil is

•mfer put a cinder block in the gravel apparently to keep us from parking in the grass, didn’t tell anybody, and put it in a spot where you can’t even see it in your rear view mirror. soo obviously i ran it over. 🙃 

•they think my cat is peeing upstairs even though their dog does not go to the bathroom when he’s outside and constantly pees and poops inside. and my cat has never done that before ever. 

•they eavesdrop constantly and share our business to everyone.

okay. so fast forward to now. let's go over what happened. so last night, me, my hubby, and my toddler were all in bed asleep. it was past midnight, i dont know the exact time this happened because i didnt check. we were all woken up by smoke!!! i literally thought the house was on fire, like it was bad. it was so strong and i could barely breathe. keep in mind, i have asthma. i was walking around the basement trying to figure out what was going on. and i get to our doorway to our living room, and i see someone holding a bundle of sage thats burning. and ive burned sage plenty, and have never seen it completely lit like that, like the whole bottom was glowing orange. it was as if they used a torch to light the damn thing. but so i see that, and the rest of them was behind a blanket we have hung up to keep the warmth in down there. i go back in my bedroom to tell my husband cody what i saw, and by the time they heard we were all awake at that point, they ran back upstairs. i know it had to be cody's dad, because his mom doesn't mess with that stuff at all. but yeah it was so bad we had to turn on the air purifier to get some fresh air to breathe. but i have never been around that much smoke from someone fucking smudging sage, like wtf was that about?????? the whole basement was filled with smoke, i could not escape it. and my husband said he ended up unable to fall back asleep until 3. well this morning i guess, my husband ended up texting his dad about that telling him that he's pissed. and i guess the response isnt good either. he's on his way home from work right as we speak and is going to show me the messages. wish me luck. i think he just pulled in the driveway.
