Writepril day 4 - Finishing school and walking in the mud

Huge news everypony. I have just finished writing my thesis paper. That's the last thing I had to do for school, which means once I submit it I'll be DONE!!! FOR REAL!!! Like... graduated done..!!! with a degree!! WOW!!! Talk about a breath of fresh air!!!!

Next month I'll be having my graduating exhibition. I've been working so hard and putting so much of myself into my paintings and I'm honestly so so excited to show my body of work to so many people. I have one more painting that's been stirring in my heart that I need to bring into fruition. I think I'll do that this week or next. After that, I'll be clearing out my studio and preparing for the exhibition. I'm really looking forward to having my friends see my work, too. 
In other news, I think I might have a gluten intolerance. I'm going to try to not eat gluten for the next couple of days and see how my gut feels. Speaking of gut, our kombucha baby has unfortunately not made it past the first week because I may or may not have cheaped out on the initial brewing process and now it's biting me in the ass, so I'll be hopefully going around today collecting stuff for a new brew and starting over. I'm just glad this didn't happen too far in, I would be devastated.
Today, it's muddy and cold and wet and gloomy outside, but I've decided I'm going to wear my beat-up boots take a walk in the muddy forest and breathe in the cold wet air and just see what that does for me.
