The Silent Patient" by Alex Michaelides is like soooo good! It's a total mystery novel that will have you on the edge of your seat until the very end, with a plot twist that you won't see coming! The main character, Alicia Berenson, is a famous artist who murders her husband and then stops speaking altogether. The story follows a psychotherapist named Theo Faber as he tries to unravel the mystery of why Alicia did what she did.

Kindred by Olivia Butler (Historical/Sci-fi) and Woman at Point Zero by Nawal El Saadawi (Creative nonfiction) are two of my favourites! The descriptions might sound bland but they really hook you in!
