I'm going to my very first metal concert soon. I was lucky enough to get tickets for the cannibal corpse tour but I'm a bit worried about how metal concerts work. I've only been to one rock concert before and it was pretty tame so I am not sure what to expect! I love metal music and cannibal corpse but what scares me the most is the pit and the fans tbh.
Things that I have already planned for:
- Ear plugs
- Secure bag
- Sanitary kit (bandaids and disinfectant)
Is there anything else I need to be worried about? I'll try to avoid the pit so I don't get pushed around and junk but maybe I'm over-exaggerating.

first off, congrats on getting tickets!! to answer your question, i wouldn’t worry too much. i’ve seen cannibal and other metal bands, and honestly it’s pretty standard in terms of preparation. i think you’re good :-) have fun whenever you go!
