Today was wonderful!

The weather was just perfect today. There were so many planes out flying today, and since we were hanging out by the airport this morning we got to see a lot of action. 

We decided to go to this place called Tom's Farms to have lunch, but unfortunately their restaurants were closed because of a power ouage. But it was okay, we had lunch nearby and then went back. We got on the train ride, walked around, and ate some snacks.

It was just so nice to be out and it felt really good to walk around! But man, I had some horrible allergies! There was a gorgeous wildflower bloom in the hills all around the area, so that meant lots and lots of pollen. 

On the way back, drove past another airport and a huge cargo plane was just landing. It flew right over our car, and I don't think I've ever been that close to a landing plane before (aside from, well, you know.) 

My dad and I ended the day with one of my favorite pastimes.... Watching The Three Stooges after dinner! We laughed insanely hard, we always do, but this one particular skit had us wheezing. They're just goofing off in the army and the General yells, "What do you think you're doing!? Playing hippity hop at the barber shop!?" 

Somehow that was just way too funny and I'm still laughing at it... Anyways! Good day overall! But I am absolutely not happy about the heat wave coming next week. Guess I'll have to start waking up at 5am to go fly so I don't just cook to death in the plane, haha...
