Making 88x31 buttons, or literally anything like blinkies.

"how the HELL do I make blinkies or buttons?"

some might ask.

Well, it's very very very very simple (at least for me idk bout y'all)

Stuff that I use for making these cool graphics: Aseprite, DaFonts, Spriters Resources, and a sprite sheet to gif converter.

Alternatives: LibreSprite, or literally any art program. Photoshop, Gimp, you name it! You can make the kewl graphics on there.

BUTTONS: MAKE THEM ALL THE TIME! It's a very fun thing to do and I recommend trying it at least once!

Start by making a sprite, with recommended sizes being 88x31 and 100x31.

Then just do whatever you like!

BLINKIES: Similar to buttons, very fun and awesome.

Recommended sizes being 150x20.

Then just do whatever you like!

GIFS

make animation for buttons!

LibreSprite or programs that do not support gif exporting but allows sprite sheets exporting.

If you're having trouble with creating a gif from a program that doesn't allow gifs to be exported, make a sprite sheet

Export the sprite sheet and make sure it has all the frames (I'm 99% sure that it'll export everything, it was just one time).

Use a sprite sheet -> GIF converter that can be found on the web.

Extra:

BUTTONS OR WHATEVER WITH LINKS

use this code: <a href="yourlink"><img src="yourimage"/></a>

For example: <a href="https://neocities.org/browse/"><img src="https://road.neocities.org/neocities-delete-twitter.gif"/></a>

Don't click on this, just an example

Viola, you'r thing is done!

is very fun, very simple, very cool, very awesome, very epic

I use GIMP for my animated button making.
has certain issues with transparency, but I don't do much with it anyway
