i feel like nowadays it's especially hard to do art, because of the constant pressure of for example social media, or connection we have now in general, where everyone is better than the other and is trying to compete in pointless races of who's piece is the most "original” but in fact, every single thing is a copy of a copy and that’s why everything seems so overdone.

i think the biggest danger in culture these days is ai art, if you can even call it art, because it wasn’t made with emotions. i like to say that art is made when you put your heart into it, i also call it the biggest and most meaningful "rule” of art.

the most important thing then is to not compare your art to anyone’s, because that makes your art a copy of a thing you compared yourself to!!!!!!!!

i know it’s easy to say, but the best pieces you’ve ever done are made when in touch with yourself, when you know how you feel and know what to say through your art.

1. someone or something that gives you ideas for doing something
2. the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative.

it’s almost impossible to do something without inspiration so here’s some things that help me get in „phase” and start making songs for example,,,,,

first off, you have to have a good mindset, you can be sad, you can be happy, you can feel whatever you feel at the moment, but you have to think 

„i will make amazing art today, because i want to put my feeling onto paper, movie etc.”. 

you can have some tea, coffee, cigarette (don’t smoke please), listen to music, read a book, watch a movie, read a manga/comic, analyse paintings of your favourite painter, discover a new writer, painter, movie director, musician, songwriter, remind yourself of some happy events that happened to you or some person you lost touch with, 

and get the best out of it that fits your style and keep that great overwhelming feeling to make your own art. that’s the way millions of artists for thousands years kept culture running.
