School (Receiving Threats TW)

Recently my school has had several gun threats and honestly, it's very scary. The school and the board of ed here are swiping it under the rug. First there was a video of a freshman with a gun, he was showing it off and then put it in his pants/waistband. Then the next day tons of threats, then today the entire school of 2000+ students went down to 100-200 students attending today(11/12/2021). How do you guys feel about this? The staff refuse to talk about it, didn't mention it on the announcements, etc. Students & Parents say their uncomfortable with the admin saying everything is only rumors and handling it awfully and swiping it under the rug. It's so awful, stressful, etc. Opinions?
