As someone who has ADD, I find it difficult to drink water, I often forget that I need water or that I'm thirsty. This ofc has led to some health issues (migraines etc.). Some ways I've tried to combat this problem is to pretend that I'm a sim or a plant (it's silly but it works). I either pretend that I was assigned the unavoidable task of going to the kitchen and getting a glass of water as if I am a sim being controlled by someone else, or I pretend that I'm a plant, knowing that I need water to photosynthesize.
These methods work for me but at the same time are very distracting, especially if I'm trying to get school work done. Does anyone have any advice for me? or methods to drink more water?

ive seen people on tiktok put a Tamagotchi on their water bottle and when they water it or whatever they drink too? i personally just use a point system for myself

What about those apps that are like interactive and remind u to drink water? like the waterllama app?
