First I watched a YouTube video about it. I’m pretty sure this is the one I watched
https://youtu.be/iIcDGa6y3zU
If you search “spacehey layout tutorial” on YouTube, lots of stuff comes up.
I also stole some code from posts in the layout tab of this site (which is where people post the code for their layout). If you can recognize a piece of code in relation to a certain change you want to make, that’s gonna make everything a lot easier.
There’re also websites that teach html and css and stuff. This is a link
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/background-position
(The link will take you to a page about background-position but there is a menu on the side with other options to look at).
Just look up what you want to do, and you will find out how to do it. Like I said before, this becomes easier when you can recognize terminology and symbols and understand what they do.
This is the website I use to convert images into direct links.
https://postimages.org/
Set it to “no expiration date” unless you only want the image for a limited time. For example: bulletins only last for up to 10 days, so you can use direct links that expire. You won’t want to use temporary direct links for something like a layout.
This is where I got my fonts from.

I think she goes over using this in the video I linked.
