But not April Fool's Day. Just another Saturday. I am a conscientious objector to April Fools.
Anyway, My day started kind of late, but a friend of mine had just gotten better after being sick so I texted seeing if they wanted to go do stuff, since they'd been inside all week. We went to Michaels, Dollar Tree, and Home Depot. At Michaels I needed some upholstery thread and thick needles to put patches on the denim jacket I thrifted a while back, and I had been listening to Disloyal Order of Water Buffaloes by Fall Out Boy a lot recently so I decided I wanted to get beads and make two bracelets that said "half-doomed" and "semi-sweet." I get urges to make beaded bracelets on occasion so I just got a bunch, and then since there was a dollar tree across the street I decided to go there for an organizer for the beads, cause it was gonna be cheaper. (Here's the finished bracelets, I'm still not sure if I'm happy with the color assortment, though it is supposed to match the Folie à Deux album cover.
After we stopped by Home Depot for some special glue my friend needed, we decided to go look at some nature. We found a cool nature trail nearby we hadn't been to with a waterfall. Here's some pics!
Also, it's bluebonnet season in Texas, and I found a rare, pink bluebonnet! Apparently they're uncommon.
Glad to have a day out before having to hole up and do schoolwork tomorrow, though all the outdoor-ness has flared up my allergies. I sneezed a million times and started to get a really bad headache. Took some Advil though and that's mitigated it a bit.
