Winter 2023 Anime Reaction...

So I finished wrapping up the animes I saw this winter season. So the following are my reactions:

The Fire Hunter

Definitely my second favorite anime this season. The big downside is the animation, which can make it unwatchable for many (I suppose is low budget?). The reason why I loved it? The world-building, the characters, and the story got me hooked. I was happy to know they would be a second season. They better make the animation better.

The Ice guy and His Cool Female Friend

Very chill anime. Nothing much happens but if you're looking to pause all the excitement and blood and all that shit in other anime, this is it. Nice characters design. I just wish there was more than just interacting with co-worker, and playing it safe. There is a scene that was a bit risky (final episode) but nothing happened. VERY into the world-building of people being descendants of spirits, which could of have expanded into something much bigger. other than that, it was ok.

Giant Beast Of Ars

Very, VERY disappointed with this anime. Too much potential wasted. It was actually my first anticipated anime every week to see. First 5 episodes I was hooked, wanting to know about all character's adventures and their potential growth, the agenda of all the people within the empire (too many people in the government planning their own shit and playing chess), the history of arcs, and What Myaa's plan was. After episode 9, it went downhill. They better announce a season two to resolve all the plot holes they left.

The Opening is my favorite of this season, though and I love all five main characters.

Kaina of the Great Snow Sea

My winner for this anime season. Loved almost everything in this anime. the 3d animation was good, and the world is gorgeous and stunning. Love the characters (and hate the villain with the force of a thousand needles, but he was a good villain). Hands down, I super love Amerote as a character, even if she was part of Vaghia.  The only thing I hated is that I have to see the movie to find out about the great spire tree (and hope Amerote becomes Queen of Vaghia).

Buddy Daddies

In my top three (3rd place). I have a lot of fun watching this anime. It does not have any complex plot but is not too simple either. Very consistent with story and good ending.  

So I have to put HIGH CARD, Revenger, and The Vampire dies in No time on hold because I did not have time to see all of the anime. Vampire dies in not time will have to wait until I finish watching season 1. HIGH CARD is meant to have a season two or so I heard, but I will be back to see it. now...

Handyman Saitou in Another World

I'm sorry but I could not watch it. I have to drop it in episode two. The format is messed up in a way that I was confused as to what's going on. It has a good artstyle and nice opening, but I could not get into the story.
