What do you like to see in a book?

Currently having writer's block. What do you want to read in a book? what is your favorite parts of a story? The book I am writing, in my opinion is coming along great, but i feel like it needs more, currently I am stuck on what to do next in the book, but I'd like to better what I have. Any suggestions or advice?
