Gooooood Morning - WRITEPRIL 1

(Hii my friends its writepril day 1! Happy April to everyone and may it be filled with rest and flowers and rain and warm weather hehe)

This morning, I'm seated at the table enjoying a sweet breakfast of tea, clementines, and homemade scones. I am making a commitment to this moment and pouring out tea from a pot, cup by cup, until the pot is empty. I am eating the scones I made last night. I have covered them in warm butter and honey. I have eaten two very sweet clementines. 

When I have empty mornings alone, I try to turn my breakfast into a ritual space where I can be present and intentional. Lately I have been making a point to listen to the sounds of the birds or the rain outside when I drink my tea. Today, it is sunny and warm. I'll be inside at work this afternoon, but I'm going to take a walk and enjoy the weather while I have the morning to myself.

Other thoughts: My mom is dog-sitting a big ass great dane mastiff mix whose name is Moose and he looks like scooby doo. I'm excited to commit to a writing practice every day and see where it takes me. I can't wait to be finished school within the next week!!! and then I'll have a DEGREE!!!!!!!!
