a liiiiiiiiiitle bit repetitive, but still an absolute bop regardless. listened to it on repeat for like 3 days when it came out as a single and don't think i will ever get tired of it.

VOID 

fuck that hits hard,,,,, i haven't been feeling the best mentally and ngl this song about describes the mix of hope and agony (for lack of a better word) i've been trying to get by while dragging along. 

TUNNEL VISION

it's honestly disgusting how much people (mainly men) treat others as sex objects, pretending to be anything you want them to be only to get a chance to fuck, not caring if it's at the expense of your feelings. 

i personally am a quite sexual person, but when people have pretended to be my friends just to get closer in a sexual way,,,,, that's what truly hurts. i actually have a pretty wild story on that topic, so lmk if anyone's interested.

FAERIE SOIREE

this song is thematically kinda all over the place imo, with possible topics ranging from police brutality to a shroom trip. i can go in depth some other time if anyone expresses any interest.

lyrics aside, song SLAPS it kinda gives off the same vibes as wonyoung's little dance if you know what i mean:

idk if it's the 'tism or what but the instrumental REALLY hits the senses right

on the topic of the lyrics: basically everyone is addicted to social media nowadays (not claiming i'm any different), and the song is especially relevant on the topic of online fame. everyone craves it, but oh god it is so dehumanizing.

the few times that i've had my videos on youtube and tik tok take off, immediately people started being assholes for no reason,,,, and we're not even talking about actual fame rn

not to mention that these companies don't care about our mental health when making these apps, just how long they can keep us hooked :))))

LEECHES

while this can be about people abusing their power at the expense of less influential people, this personally very much speaks to me on the topic of emotional vampires.

i have quite a few emotional vampires in my own family and it is EXHAUSTING to feel like you HAVE to be around people who only seem to stir up conflict to drain you,,,,,, and yet only when you prioritize yourself do they get truly upset with you.

very reminiscent of show and tell (in a good way). i love how the lyrics work both figuratively on an emotional level and on a physical level, possibly addressing the violence coming from hardcore porn imposed on women by men assuming that's how they should fuck without taking properly informed enthusiastic consent into account.

not only a banger, but also sex positive as fuck! can we get more songs acknowledging how sexy periods can be? i don't get my period anymore cuz of hrt, but i'm always down for this kind of empowerment, the stigma needs to end
