What I did in March

I haven't s3lf h4rmed in 3 weeks.

I watched 68 movies. My favourite was The Spirit of the Beehive. There's a scene where a child tries to strangle a cat. The cat scratches her and escapes. Then she paints her lips with the cat's blood. That's the most beautiful thing I've seen in a long time. I started crying so loudly I was scared my parents would ask me if I was okay, but they were polite and ignored me. The actress Ana Torrent as a child is the only person I've ever seen with a stare as good as Lain's. For most of my life, the only media I've been able to appreciate is anime. I was prejudiced against movies with actors cause I thought it would make me feel bad to see humans, but it's been okay. Maybe it's cause they are not themselves but playing characters.

I re-read The Stranger and The Myth of Sisyphus and read The Plague for the first time. I still don't get Camus, but I understand more each time I return to him. My favourite line was: "Sin is not so much knowing (if it were, everyone would be innocent) as wanting to know. I think I recognize in my life the feeling of the absurd he wrote about, but I can't be sure if it's the same feeling.

I wrote 5 crappy poems. That's more crappy poems than last month. There's an improvement in the quantity of poems.

I brushed my teeth for the first time since 2021.

I told my friends I love them. I've never said that to anyone before
