its not "if i could draw" its "if i spent more time practicing drawing". don't let a lack of skill hold you back! if you practice and put your mind to it im sure your art would improve
u are 100% correct but idk why every time i try and get into drawing i feel this sickening feeling that makes me want to stop what im doing or something, this issue is definitely something i should work on overtime:[

could it be that youre not satisfied with the results and you keep comparing yourself to those who have spent a much longer time practicing? i get that feeling a lot, its what stops me from drawing most of the time. its very rare that when i draw something i'm satisfied with result.
instead of having a big goal in mind while drawing, maybe just try doodling things you like? even if its bad? that way you wont be disappointed by the result. that usually helps me! here is my most recent drawing btw
