(Poem) Late Night Corner Store By Unjinxed

Staying up late taking a drive while listening to music in a silent dark city can make you feel a type of way.

The only sign of life being that of the corner store with it's single employee wasting away in the mid of night just like me.

Oh my unrequited friend what do you think of being all alone in there with nothing but the deafening quiet the store gives you.

When a person walks Into your peaceful quiet does It make you feel relief to have escaped It or uneasy.

When they take what they need and leave you do you return to your quietness in peace or yearn to escape it once again.

Unrequited friend maybe I work in a corner store of my own late every night...
