My roommate did WHAT?!?!

I have never been more ANGRY. My roommate moved out tonight and he left my place looking like an actual dumpster. He moved out, left his bed behind, which is fine because the new roommate wanted the bed. He also left his desk, which again is totally fine because the new roommate wanted it. BUT, he left so many other things in my lounge room. He's left a pillow, posters, a suitcase in my closet as well as an esky. He's left a bunch of glasses, plates and bowls in my cupboards. He also has forgotten to take a TV unit. He told me that he was going to take it with him and he's left it behind, as well as a heater. These things are heavy. I do not want to carry it down my stairs. I live on the top floor of my building and I live up six flights of stairs. I only weigh like 60 kg. I don't have a lot of muscle. I CANNOT carry these things down the stairs on my own. He and his dad helped him take all this stuff home with him, including two couches. He also took the TV. I knew he was going take the couch and the TV, so that was expected, but the way that he took it was disrespectful to me. He left my TV unit sideways. He didn't bother to put it back the way he found it. He didn't pick up any of the rubbish that was found underneath the couch. He left it for me to clean up. Any bag or rubbish that had my name on it from Uber eats he left on the floor. He didn't even bother to put it in a garbage bag and take it with him when he was taking out the trash. This is so PETTY. He has never vacuumed or mopped or done anything to contribute to the apartment. I have always done everything. I always vacuum, do the dishes, sweep up. This just seems very disrespectful. I have done nothing but live with the way that he wants to live, which includes leaving things on the floor that I trip over, not putting things in the bed and leaving them on the bench, like teabags, and I've just cleaned it up and fix his mistakes. So yeah, the way that he left has me mas

I messaged him and asked why he left all this stuff behind and he didn't tell me anything. He said that he's coming next week to pick everything up. That's in four days. I have to sit in my home and look at all this junk. Not only that, but my new roommate moves in tomorrow. They’re gonna think I live like trash because of this. I don't wanna give the wrong impression. My new roommate is super sweet. He is a boy; he's my age and he is also studying at university. We get along and we have a lot in common. I think for the long run this is going to be a big change for the better.

Thanks for listening babe, really had to tell someone about what's going on xx

What a jerk!!! I do NOT miss living with random people. One girl I was housemates with in college accidentally spilled a box of cereal on the kitchen floor, and she just left it there. I had to sweep it up the next day. I couldn't believe how slobby some people are. Let's hope this dude gets his act together and actually comes back to get the rest of his stuff...
