3.30.23 - it is technically now the 31st

hi guys :)

today (or i guess yesterday now since it's 3:20am) started out as a pretty uneventful day, honestly. i didn't go to bed the night before until close to 6am, so i ended up waking up around 11:30, which i honestly normally do on a thursday since my first class isn't until 2:30pm. i hadn't set any alarms though, so i'm honestly kinda surprised i woke up and didn't sleep through my class - or that i woke up and didn't decide to go back to sleep without setting an alarm again.

i got up, got dressed and ready, and ate a pb and nutella sandwich before going to my first class of the day, which was italian. during italian, all i did was sit and text kat on my laptop while my professor talked for the entire class period. i also did my daily tasks on webkinz. at the end of class, my professor handed back our quizzes. i was honestly shocked to see that i'd gotten an 88 - i definitely did not do that well. i think he's just an easy grader. he is kind. he is also an old man, sooooo... yeah. i just think he doesn't care. love him.

after italian, i went to my second and final class of the day at 4pm, which was my theology class. yes, i am required to take two theology classes. am i religious? fuck no. this one's kinda interesting tho because it's about trauma. all we did in that class was listen to this one guy in my small group give his workshop presentation and then have a discussion about it. overall, easy class day. no real complaints. all i do in class is sit and ROT.

after class, i decided to take a nap. it was longer than expected, but that usually happens with me, so i didn't think much of it. however, i did have to be up before a certain time because one of my friends invited my other friend and i to go to karaoke at her job. i woke up from my nap around 7 and then got up, made myself some dinner (a red baron pizza melt and freeze dried peaches), went to the gym where i did 4.20 MILES ON THE BIKE (wink), and came back to my apartment to get ready to leave for karaoke. unfortunately, one of my annoying as fuck suitemates was in the bathroom, so i couldn't even shower before leaving. i had to whip up some decent looking outfit and make sure i didn't smell like absolute shit from the gym and just the day in general. outfit was kinda basic, but i did wear my daisy jones & the six related bead bracelets and choker that i made for myself last sunday. the choker says "warreddie" on it. i made kat a matching one and a matching bracelet to one of mine. i think i'll try to send them out before her birthday, but i don't know if they'll get to her on time. anyway, here's a picture of the bike saying that i did 4.20 miles (wink again).

after i got ready, i headed downstairs to meet my friends and go to karaoke. not a lot of people were there tonight, so it was kinda dead. i got a chocolate milkshake and truffle fries for free, though. perks of my friend working at the place and there not being a lot of us with her this time. i heard a few people sing, including my two friends and my friend's coworkers. it was a fun time, but my friends were lowkey trying to pressure me to sing by myself, so that wasn't so fun. i did, however, go up and sing "obsessed" by mariah carey with my two friends. it wasn't serious, just like the last time i sang with one of those friends. we were just having fun, but i love that. after karaoke was over, around 11, my friends and i went to the arcade to play some games. one of my friends and i played this mario 2020 olympics shit, and when i tell you that was one of the most annoying, yet fun games i've ever played... we literally had to run in place and jump. it was like we were actually the olympians. waluigi sucks. do not play as him (me losing was totally my fault and not the character i chose's fault). after breaking an actual sweat playing that game, we played a couple others. my personal favorite was the walking dead game. i was actually decent at that one. rick grimes i love you.

after playing a few more games, my friend asked my other friend and i if we wanted to get anything from the prize shop because she isn't allowed to spend her tickets on that stuff since she works there. my other friend and i got matching care bear plushies. i'll show a picture of them. they are actually amazing.

i think i'm gonna name mine will after will harrison who plays graham in daisy jones & the six. :) also yes, i am aware that they come with names. he is will to me. that is MY child.

after my friend and i got our care bears, the three of us left to go back to school. we went to the subway station and actually got on the wrong subway, but that wasn't our fault, if i'm being totally honest. the subway we got on is usually a local subway, so we thought it would stop where we needed it to. spoiler alert - it did not. we got off twelve blocks away from where we needed to be. soooo... we had to wait for the next downtown subway at the station we got off at and get on that to get back to school. when we got back, we stopped at one of the vending machines downstairs to get a drink, then headed up to our respective apartments. these two friends are gonna be my suitemates next year, and i'm honestly super excited about it. we're gonna work well living together.

when i got back to my apartment, i got in the shower. i facetimed kat through my shower and we're still facetiming now. we wanna watch valley girl (2020), but we haven't started it yet. we keep getting sidetracked. this is typical of us. i think we're still gonna watch it tho. even tho i'm tired and i have a class at 8:30am. i always stay up, anyway.

also, you'll find that majority of my blog posts are gonna end with me talking about facetiming kat. well, that's because we do it every day. she is my best girl in the entire world, of COURSE i'm gonna talk to her every chance i get. anyway, yeah. that was just a heads-up.

i don't know what i'm doing tomorrow (today??) aside from going to class, but i'm hoping it'll be a good day. this day started pretty meh, but ended up being good. i'm glad i went to karaoke - i was not about to at first. but yeah! i know no one's reading these except kat, but i like writing them, so i'm gonna keep going. love you all. night night.
