Taking a leaf out of HJ and zelly's book and going to post what I made for dinner! The recipes aren't my own though, so I'll post the detailed ones then just add commentary about all the painful hard work I did.
So first I fried the chicken cutlets. I hate frying. Oil is like a wild beast that I cannot tame. Also made rice at the same time. Cutlets came out good, or at least most of them did. At first the oil was too hot but was able to get it to the right range.
Then I made the curry, that went well! Never made Japanese curry before so new experience. A friend who lives in our building gave us a jar of pickled red cabbage so I used that as garnish.
When all was said and done, she was beaudeeful! Was proud of my hard work. Now I'm tired and watching Succession.
