My boyfriend wants to put down my cat

So my boyfriend wants to put my kat down just because my baby smoochie kins named Walter Melons keeps trying to eat my boyfriends Hot Pockets. But 1) my boyfriend wont eat else but hot pockets 2) he keeps putting it in the same place and 3) he's losing to a cat.
Should I break up with my boyfriend or put down Walter Melons
