3.29.23 - i love warren rojas

hi everyone! sorry for that complete mindfuck of a blog post yesterday - i always have a lot to say about daisy jones & the six. also... yes, the title of this blog post is related to daisy jones & the six - more specifically, it's related to warren rojas (aka warren rhodes in the book).

still, that's not what this blog is about. i won't go on another rant about daisy jones & the six, even though i enjoy doing so.

today was a pretty boring day. i don't have any classes for college on wednesdays, so i usually spend my day doing whatever the fuck i want to do. however, today i did have to do laundry, so that wasn't so fun. before that, though, i went on a little adventure, as i usually do on wednesdays. here is what happened on that adventure.

i took a nice walk outside and grabbed boba from my favorite place by campus. in case you didn't know, i go to school in the city, so there is stuff for me to do or places for me to go everywhere i turn. i got my usual boba order, which is nutella milk tea. it's like crack. it's like a reward. i used to get it almost every day before i left for winter break, but now, i get it less. money is a real world problem - i'm always worried about spending all my money even though i really don't spend it??

after i got my boba, i took a walk to times square to see if i could see the daisy jones & the six billboard one last time, because i was sure that since the show has ended, they would be taking it down soon. unfortunately, to my dismay, it had already been taken down. i took a picture of what is now up - definitely one of the STRAIGHTEST billboards i have ever seen in my life. they don't want to see the home of sexuals winning. anyway, here's the new billboard. yuck.

after i went and saw the billboard, i was gonna stop at barnes and noble, but then i realized i was heading in the direction of shake shack, which was where i wanted to get food from. soooo... i just went there and got my food, then went back to school. to be fair, i did walk for a little over an hour. i just like to get a nice walk in on wednesdays. that's the one thing i make a priority on wednesdays.

when i got back to my apartment, i ate my food and did my laundry that i needed to do. i didn't do it right away like i wanted to because EVERY SINGLE WASHER WAS TAKEN WHEN I FIRST GOT TO THE LAUNDRY ROOM. i actually hate when that happens. it was literally four in the afternoon, why was everybody and their mama deciding to do their laundry at that time?? guess i can't criticize because i decided to do mine then too, but still. rude and obnoxious.

while i ate, i played some roblox and webkinz. i am a child at heart, okay? plus, those games are lowkey fun as fuck. don't even clown me for playing, it's mostly for nostalgia or shits and gigs. after i spent a shit ton of time trying to complete a 500 stage obby on roblox while my laundry was being done, my friend texted me and asked if i wanted to go to one of the editing lounges where you can use after effects for free and make a little edit. of course, i said yes (i have never used after effects a day in my life). i grabbed my laundry, put my bed stuff back on my bed, and then met up with my friend to make my silly little edit of this guy!!

the titular character of today's blog post, warren rojas from daisy jones & the six!! god, i love that fruity little man. anyway, it definitely took me the better part of an hour to actually figure after effects out, but I DID IT. i split my clips, and that's pretty much all i did for my edit. not much, i know, but i'm just proud of myself for being able to learn to use the program so quickly. didn't expect that at all, truly.

now, i'm sitting in my room, writing this blog post. my friend did come back to my room for a bit after we edited to read me some HORRIBLE queen fanfic (yes, queen the band), but then we both decided it was time for us to shower and get ourselves ready for bed, so she went back to her own apartment. soooo... yeah. i showered and now i'm facetiming kat, who actually just made a spacehey account today! she's my best friend and my actual baby, so if you add her, you all better love her just as much as i do. okay, maybe not just as much, because i love her SOOOOOOO MUCH. like, more than anything. you better appreciate her, but not love her as much as me, okay?

that's it for today, honestly! i'll probably play some more roblox with kat in a bit - who knows? i don't have class until 2:30 on thursdays, so i stay up on wednesday nights and just do whatever. maybe some more exciting updates will come soon, or maybe they won't. i just saw people posting about their days, so i kinda thought it would be fun to do the same. alright, love you all. see ya.
