a father's grief

[it was your average day..... well.... not really average, per se.... the air felt oddly heavy like something bad was gonna happen. eli hadn't shown up to the sun temple in a little too long for Arlos comfort. so, he went to visit her. Then, a pain-filled, agonizing cry could be heard from elis room. when anyone went to see what had happened, Arlo was cradling Eli, who was long gone. his sobs were only muffled by her shoulder, in which his head was buried. if anyone dared to listen close enough, it was clear that Arlo was begging for his daughter to come back, to not leave him... there were also a few "I'm so sorry"s in there.....] although there is a word in English for those who have lost their parents [orphan], there is no word for a parent who has lost their child, for that sort of pain is one too hard to describe.
