Blog entry No. 1

I’ll try to keep this updated so here we go:

Lana del Reys new Album „Did you know there’s a Tunnel under Ocean Blvd.“ just came out and I’ll try to analyse it. Btw if you care, I’m done with my pre- exams yay :3 

Okay now ldr, I think it’s a verry strong album but also verry different compared to her previous releases, and yeah ik it’s not born to die, depression romanticised giving. If think you could compare the idea of the album to Beyoncés Renaissance Album because you really can feel that Lana opend up in her songs, I mean she always does but I feel like this time it’s different. I feel like she wants to leave all the toxic relationships (if it’s her family (as u can see in „the grants“)or ex partners) behind and looking up for what the days bring next as she describes in „Margot“ and with „Let the Light in“. Also I think she is really accepting who she is or who she might can be, for me the mix up of „A&W“ and „Taco Truck x VB“ shows the difference and maybe the old and new of herself and that she can be both if she want, but in an really happy way. 

I’m not done yet but I wanted to keep it short, soo
