It was nice! And cold. There was still some snow up there, so my dad and I took turns throwing snowballs at my mom. But we didn't have gloves on, so our hands started to burn! It was so nice and relaxing up there, but I got pretty tired and sore from walking uphill.
Oh yeah, and we saw a coyote on the way back. He was just chilling in a little apple tree grove.
I'm flying tomorrow, so I'm going to rest for the remainder of the night. Oh yeah, and I found this video... This is a video of that crazy maneuver we did in the helicopter the other day, the one that made me sick: https://youtu.be/0D8j19bDTA4?t=101
It starts at 1:41, it's just a ten second bit. And of course, yeah, that's not me in the video, it's just a random one I found of the same thing. The turn is used for a variety of things, from aerial photography to combat. It's known as a "Return to Sender" manuever, to avoid enemy fire and shoot them back. Or... Ya know.... Just spraying crops and taking nice pictures!
